Is Church Attendance Still Important
Social media has changed the face of our world. Facebook, Instagram, X, Twitter, YouTube, Tik-Tok, all have bombarded our lives to help us stay "connected." But are we? All these media forms are two dimensional, they are faces and words on a flat screen and they can also be anonymous. Without any verification or any real identification anyone can portray themselves as anything or anyone. Instead of connecting people, it actually isolates them and lets them create their own reality and their own rules. . They became isolated from the church community. All good predators look for isolated prey. Satan is a master predator seeking isolated prey (I Peter 5:8).
The Word of God is very clear on this. Hebrews 10:24-25 states "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." It doesn't take a Doctor of Theology to see that "the Day" is fast approaching. Now more than ever we need one another in reality not virtually. We at God's Garden desire to experience God's tangible Presence in our worship, growing in His Word and enjoying real godly fellowship. We invite you to come join us.
